Last Saturday I spent the day with a group of friends while sewing, eating, laughing, snacking, sharing, and eating... All day. We have so much fun at these sew-ins and I always look forward to them. This one was extra special because we got to play pass-the-baby-around. Each of us got to nurture our 'Oh, she's such a cute baby!' craving. I also spent the day working on two Jake Heart blocks for a comfort quilt for one of our members and this month's challenge block.

I love the colors you're using, and the patterns are great.
I love the soft colors you are using. This is going to be a very pretty quilt.
What pretty colors! Nice job!
I love how you're using gradated shades of one colour. Never seen that block before either.
Wow Dena - your blocks are turning out great. I haven't started this month's yet. I'll take a picture of all three together like you did - mine are all in greens.
I think Diane did a great job in making that pattern for us in the right size - she's so clever.
You won't find Tails and Nines on the internet - that's just what I named it because it's the first thing I thought of. :) If you search for patterns made from "sweet sixteens", you might find the 12" version. I certainly don't mind if Dena shares the directions.

I love those blocks, especially tails and nines. Still working on that tutorial? I can't wait.
I really love your color choices!
